The Future Dr. Shelley Lubben

As I typed the title of this post, I had to fight the intense urge to gag. If that crazy lady gets her doctorate and begins to refer to herself as "Dr. Lubben," I'm going to lose my shit. Just what the world needs- another fanatic running around tricking others into believing that they are a credible source while spouting about faulty research.

Exhibit A- Judith A. Reisman, PhD, or "Dr. Reisman" and her theory of erototoxins:

"The term erototoxin has been introduced by Judith Reisman, PhD, in order to operationalize how the human brain processes erotically stimulating intimate scenes that appear outside, in the public media, a documentably unnatural, dangerous environment for such scenes. The resulting harms to the observer may present as physical impotence and/or as emotional, in the inability to bond. Such psychopharmacological dysfunctions will afflict many or all repeated pornography users. While the visual stimulus' entry into the limbic system is virtually automatic and autonomic, it still allows for some levels of frontal cortical discernment commonly undeveloped in the adolescent brain. Although the tragedy of pornography use is thoroughly documented anecdotally, science is just beginning to confirm the involuntary anti cognitive nature of media eros."   Crazy Theories

Ok, so what did Ms. Reisman get her doctorate in? Oh, that's right...COMMUNICATIONS. Where's her data? Her published studies? How did she learn so much about physiology in her communications courses? Just because someone has a doctorate does not mean that they're credible, so please remember that when Shelley Lubben begins to refer to herself as a doctor. Oh and by the way, see that lovely picture below? That's Lubben and Reisman. They should start their own private practice.

Okay, so hopefully you got this far, and if you're just skimming, then let me grab your attention: PAY ATTENTION TO THIS, RIGHT HERE. RIGHT HERE RIGHT HERE, LOOK!!!  Ok, good. So, my inspiration for this latest rant came from the article "Shelley Lubben: Demons and Donkeys," featuring commentary from Chauntelle Anne Tibbals, Christina Page (yes, that's me), Jordan Owen, Beth Patricia, Anthony Kennerson, and Michael Whiteacre. Also, a few reprinted quotes from April Garris and Johnny Trejo.

This article is fantastic and you're even crazier than Shelley Lubben if you don't take a few minutes to read it:
Shelley Lubben: Demons and Donkeys

Michael Whiteacre is doing a wonderful job exposing this woman for the fraud that she is. You can check out his work here-  Michael Whiteacre's Youtube Channel

My goal is to help reduce the stigma against individuals who work in the sex industry, and I am offended and disgusted by the way Shelley Lubben speaks of these individuals. All she does is increase the stigma, causing harm to the individuals that she claims she is out to "save." The only person that she is interested in helping is herself. If you've ever been swayed by some of her anti-pornography propaganda bullshit, then please watch some of the videos on Whiteacre's YouTube channel. They should provide you with some enlightenment.

On that note, it's time for bed. I spent last night in NYC for the HedoOnline.com Sybarite Awards and had a fucking FANTASTIC time, but can no longer keep my eyes open.

  1. That photo of Judith Reisman and Shelley Lubben...WTF?!?!?

Of course, you do know that "Dr. Reisman" also pretended to be a "radical feminist" at one time; she posted an essay under the name "Judith Bat-Ada" to the classic antiporn anthology Take Back The Night titled, "Playboy Isn't Playing". Even "Dr." Gail Dines has used Reisman's studies for her antiporn propaganda. (Please don't get me started -- AGAIN -- on Gail.)

That offer for you to become an official contributor to BPPA still stands, BTW.

  2. Anthony- yes I would love that. Definitely up for it.

  3. Strange. Someone left an anonymous comment, "Typical defense from people who are deluded about one little woman who dares challenge the establishment." but then deleted it. "Typical defense?" or truth and sanity? I used empirical data and fact in my "defense." I suppose if that's typical, then I'm okay with it. Also- are you seriously calling the contributors of that article "deluded?" Have you seen videos of Shelley where she's claiming to be a prophet? Where she claims that God cured her herpes? I could go on all day. She woman is completely out of her mind, and yet we are the deluded ones. Sure, that makes a whole lot of sense. What establishment is she challenging? All she's doing is preying on innocent people while attempting to make a few dollars.

  4. Or perhaps that anonymous poster was referring to Ms. Reisman when he/she references "one little woman." Perhaps too many "erotoxins" eroding their brain cells? Science according to Communications majors. C'mon now, seriously? Anyone watch Arrested Development? "C'MON!!!"

  5. What I hear this crazy lady saying is she is concerned that she can't get men to bond with her. Not all men want to BOND, just because they are having sex. She sounds just as crazy as Dr.Melissa Farely.

  6. And the crazaa just got a bit crazier:

In a nutshell, Shelley laid down the gauntlet at April Garris, and Michael Whiteacre responded with a nuke. With more to come.

The downfall of The Ministress continues.

    1. Thank you for sharing this. It's a fantastic article. Michael is a genius, isn't he?

Anthony are we friends on FB? If not, we should be. I'm "Christina Page." If you're friends with Michael, try to find me in his friends list. Apologies if we are already friends. Send me a message.

  8. Simply stated, you are doing yourself a disservice by associating your name with the gritty and wicked business that is pornography.

    Yes, it is wicked.

It turns men against their wives, encourages young boys to look at women like sex objects, and perverts the ideal of the beautiful woman. It also goes against God's will (Mathew 5:27).

God is calling men and women out of the porn industry, into His arms, and there is nothing that will stop Him. I pray that you will turn from the way you're living and turn to Christ, who died for you, out of His great love for you. But even if not, I feel it's best to warn you that you will not win this fight.

God will in the end triumph over all evil, and the sides have already been chosen. Choose today to make your stand with the one and only Holy and Loving God.

    Sincerely Eric Miller.

  9. Eric- I am not a Christian. I don't know what you're quoting, nor do I care. I am a slutty sinner and am prepared for hell (just in case). I got my SPF 30 baby, and my base tan. Oh, and I have all of the prayers of wonderful people such as yourself, always praying for my soul.

A few things about your argument against pornography- "It turns men against their wives." How so? Do you have any empirical evidence to support this? I can cite studies that disprove this theory. Can you? I live by current data, rather than some old dusty book. Where do your assertions come from?

Also, you are assuming that only males enjoy pornography. That's a gender stereotype. I am a woman and I enjoy pornography. Will this turn my against my boyfriend? What about couples that enjoy watching pornography together?

You mentioned that porn "goes against God's will." Really? It says that in the bible? Shit, maybe I should start reading it.

Eric, I'm not trying to win a fight. The fight is already won. Pornography is a thriving legal industry, and Shelley Lubben is slowly unraveling. Actually, she seems to have unraveled long ago, but the members of her cult, oops I mean Pink Cross, are just catching on now.

"Religion is like a penis. It's fine to have one. It's fine to be proud of it. But PLEASE DON'T WHIP IT OUT IN PUBLIC AND PLEASE DON'T TRY TO SHOVE IT DOWN MY CHILDREN'S THROATS."

    Enough said.

  10. Oh Jesus Fucking Christ Eric, I should have looked at your blog before I even responded to you. I just scanned it over, you hate gays and speak favorably of Zimmerman. I should have known. That sort of ignorance can't even be reasoned with.

    1. First of all, I disagree with your rendering of my blog, considering I don't hate anyone. But my blog is directed at believers so I wouldn't expect you to agree with me.

This is a great article on the devastating affects of porn on the family: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/vicki-larson/porn-and-divorce_b_861987.html Pay attention to paragraphs 8-10

      As is this: http://marriagegems.com/2010/04/02/porn-use-increases-infidelity-divorce/

      And this: http://mfgmarriage.com/does-watching-porn-lead-divorce/

The consensus of the stats found in those articles: porn use is a leading cause of divorce.

I say that it turns men against their wives, becuase even though more and more women are getting hooked on porn, men still surpass them in total porn intake.

Christina, regardless of how you feel about me, I love you. I see in you a soul crafted by God, a human made in His image, and a woman whom He dearly loves and desires to save and have a relationship with. This isn't about Shelley Lubben or Pink Cross, this is about obedience to the Most High God. Call me ignorant or unreasonable, I can handle it, but I know whom I have believed in and I am persuaded that He is able to save to the uttermost all who come to him for salvation. Perhaps that will be you one day. Also, if you think this fight is over, you're wrong, sin will never win in the End.

      Sincerely Eric Miller

  11. On a serious note, I am interested in looking at those studies but am at work. I will take a look later. I love to pick apart methodology, especially if it's flawed.

  12. Just wanted to point out something you may already know. In a recent interview Shelley Lubben claimed to have attained a doctorate in theology!
